Dance better, feel better

Starting from the 2024–2025 academic year, Accademia Ucraina di Balletto is delighted to announce a new partnership with the renowned “Quality Sport & Rehab” center. 

Quality Sport & Rehab is a brand comprising various medical outpatient clinics and sports physiotherapy centers in Italy, with a strong presence in Milan, where it operates four distinct facilities. 

These centers are designed to optimally meet athletes' needs, thanks to a multidisciplinary staff comprising physiotherapists, massage therapists, osteopaths, and physicians specializing in the treatment, prevention, and enhancement of sports and athletic performance.

Of particular note is the Quality Repubblica center, located at Viale Vittorio Veneto 20 (between Porta Venezia and Repubblica). 

Thanks to its central location and proximity to Accademia Ucraina di Balletto, this center will serve as the Academy’s primary hub, offering innovative processes and equipment for sports rehabilitation—including three fully equipped studios, two gyms tailored to different types of training, and a rehabilitation pool. 

Specialized staff offer personalized rehabilitation programs aimed at functional recovery and performance improvement.

Dr. Simone Canali—a physiotherapist with over twenty years of experience in the competitive sector—will serve as the Quality representative and head of physiotherapy activities for Accademia Ucraina di Balletto. He boasts a track record of collaborations with numerous academies, companies, and professionals across various dance disciplines, ranging from classical and contemporary to acrobatic and urban styles. 

The collaboration also includes setting up a fully equipped studio within the academy to offer on-site services.

This studio will host weekly assessment sessions, osteopathic, physiotherapy, and massage therapy treatments, as well as specialist orthopedic consultations with Dr. Augusto Morandi—a nationally renowned orthopedist and a key reference for many classical dance professionals.

Among the additional services specifically designed for dance, Quality Sport & Rehab offers:

  • physiotherapy service for events, performances, and auditions in the Milan area;
  • specific screening tests to assess the students' risks and performance levels;
  • nutritional consultations with Dr. Natale Gentile—nutritionist for Inter FC and formerly for the Italian women's national football team, as well as current nutritionist for professional dancers;
  • sports medical examinations (non-competitive) for high-cardiovascular-exertion activities at discounted rates;
  • an optional insurance policy covering accidents and diagnostic tests at controlled, discounted rates.

Dr. Simone Canali will be present during the academic year presentations and available to provide further details and answer any questions regarding the collaboration process.

With state-of-the-art facilities like Quality Repubblica in Milan and a fully equipped studio right within our Academy, we place the health and well-being of our dancers at the heart of what we do.
